Made from premium Italian Vachetta leather, this handcrafted Magnificat cover is designed to protect your Magnificat while also securely storing away both small and larger prayer cards with a spot for your favorite writing utensil.
Inspired by the great sanctuary paintings of the middle ages, the unique triptych design highlights the beautiful cover art featured each month on the Magnificat. The clear panel keeps the Magnificat securely in place while also revealing the Te Deum and Canticles for quick reference during morning and evening prayers. A pen loop holds most standard size pens and the outer snaps hold the cover securely closed when you're not at prayer. Two satin ribbons, one gold and one silver, keep your place for quick reference. The rich cappuccino color of the leather will patina and get more beautiful with age and use.
The final seven stitches between the two small prayer card pockets are hand sewn in the traditional method of leather-craft in order to pray for the recipient to grow in the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Each Magnificat cover is handcrafted from a unique hide; therefore, minor variations and veining between pieces should be expected which means your cover is a one-of-a-kind and that no two are exactly alike. Please note this cover will only fit the standard Magnificat devotional. We cannot guarantee it supporting any other devotional or sizes. Due to the nature of this cover made specific for each individual, returns are not accepted. However, we want to ensure you are happy with your purchase and will address any questions or concerns on a case by case basis.

I really love the Magnificat. It feeds my soul. The problem is it easily gets torn up, or I forget it and then I fall out of habit with it. This was a splurge but well worth it. It holds all the things I use on a daily basis and has become my new best friend. It easily goes with me everywhere.

My Magnificat cover has become one of my most essential and favorite prayer time items. Upon receiving the cover, it was evident that this piece was truly a labor of love by how thoughtfully the cover was packaged. The craftsmanship is expressive of the individual attention Steve puts into each piece. I appreciate how the design allows me to keep my pen, prayer cards and Magnificat together so I’m able to seamlessly enter into prayer with everything I need. Before having a cover by Steve, my Magnificat would become curled upon the first day but now it stays enact and the bookmarks allow me to go straight to the daily readings and save spots for monthly prayers or examen prompts I like to come back to. I love my Magnificat cover! I love sitting down with my morning coffee and smelling the genuine leather as I open my Magnificat to pray. The prayer card pockets are the perfect size. I love how it snaps closed. The pen holder is just what I need because I’m always needing to underline or write something from the Holy Spirit. The Kolbe Magnificat cover is a very high quality product that was made with care and heartfelt prayer. It is a beautiful reminder to me during Mass and personal prayer of using the gifts God has given each of us to bring glory to God. Steve has done just that with his excellent craftsmanship. I love that it can hold my favorite prayer cards and a small Mass journal. I take this with me everywhere! In addition to the Magnificat cover, I have the keychain and bookmarks and my husband has a Rosary case. We love every single product and love to also give them as gifts!
